1. About this policy

This page explains the cookies and similar storage technologies (such as your browser's localStorage) used by Orange Ball United Athletes, and how you can control them.

2. Cookies we do not use

We do not set advertising cookies or social-media tracking cookies.

3. Essential storage

To make the site work, we store a small amount of information in your browser's local storage:

• Shopping cart identifier — keeps your cart together if you reload the page or return later.
• Language preference — remembers your choice between English and Dutch.
• Cookie consent choice — remembers whether you have accepted or rejected analytics cookies.

This information is strictly necessary for the functionality you have requested and contains no personal data.

4. Analytics — Google Tag Manager & Google Analytics 4

To understand which pages are visited and how the site performs, we load Google Tag Manager (provided by Google Ireland Limited), which in turn loads Google Analytics 4.

Google Tag Manager loads on every page, but we use Google Consent Mode v2 with every storage category set to denied by default. Until you accept via the cookie banner, no analytics cookies are set and Google receives only anonymised, cookie-less signals used for aggregate conversion modelling.

Once you accept, Google Analytics stores the following cookies in your browser:

• _ga — distinguishes unique visitors (expires after 2 years).
• _ga_<container-id> — persists session state (expires after 2 years).

We enable IP anonymisation, so your full IP address is never stored. Data is used only in aggregated form to improve the site.

You can withdraw your consent at any time: Manage cookie preferences.

5. Shopify

Our online shop is powered by Shopify. When you place an order, Shopify may set cookies that are strictly necessary to process your order securely (for example, fraud prevention and session management). See Shopify's cookie policy for details.

6. Managing storage

You can delete cookies and local storage at any time through your browser settings, and you can configure your browser to block them entirely. Blocking essential storage may affect site features such as the shopping cart.
